Access Customers ― Allows the user to open the Customers module.

Add Customers ― Allows the user to create new customer records, either from the New button or from copying existing customers.

Delete Customers ― Allows the user to delete customer records. Customers with an outstanding balance cannot be deleted.

Export Customer ― Allows the user to export the contents of the Customer grid to an external file.

Modify on hold flag ― Allows the user to put customers on hold or take off hold.

Maintain Customer Specific Pricing ― This option enables the ability to Store Prices of selected items from sales orders into new Price Matrix records.

Modify Customers ― Allows the user to make and save changes to customer records. Some specific changes to customers are controlled by other User Settings.

View Accounts Receivable ― Allows the user to see the customer’s outstanding transactions on the Accounts Receivable tab when editing the customer. The ability to create entries is controlled by another User Setting for Accounts Receivable.

View Customer Communications ― Allows the user to view records on the Communications grid for the customer.

Edit Customer Communications ― Allows the user to add or edit records on the Communications grid for the customer.

Export Customer Communications ― Allows the user to export the contents of the Communications grid for the customer to an external file.

Edit Salesperson ― Allows the user to change the salesperson value on the Order Defaults tab of the customer’s record. When this option is disabled, the field is still editable if the user setting to Validate Salesperson is also disabled.

Edit Territory ―Allows the user to change the territory value on the Order Defaults tab of the customer’s record. When this option is disabled, the field is still editable if the user setting to Validate Territory is also disabled.

Change Credit Limit ― Allows the user to change either the Credit Limit type or the limited credit value on the Billing tab of the customer’s record.

Can See Customer Credit Info ― When set, the user can see and edit all the fields in the Credit Limit area on the Billing tab of the customer’s record, columns for the same fields on all customer record and accounts receivable grids, and the AR Balance and credit fields on the Main tab of sales orders.

Can See Customer AR Balance ― When set, the user can see the Balance field value on the Billing tab of the customer’s record, and as a column on all customer record grids. Generally if access is disabled for this field, then access to viewing and opening Accounts Receivable is also disabled.

Show Inactive Customers ― Allows the user to see customer records that have an Inactive status on the main Customers grid and all customer lookup grids in all modules. Inactive customers will also be suppressed when using the Search box.

Show Prospective Customers ― Allows the user to see customer records that have a Prospect status on the main Customers grid and all customer lookup grids in all modules. Prospective customers will also be suppressed when using the Search box.

Change Customer Code ― Allows the user to access and use the Customer Code Change function from the Customers top menu. If this option is disabled, the Apply button is unavailable to click.

Can See Customer Sales Information ― Allows the user to see This year, Last year and Next year sales amount fields on the Statistics tab of the customer’s record, and as columns on all customer record grids.

Can See Customers GP Information ― Allows the user to see This year, Last year and Next year gross profit amount columns on all customer record grids.

Delete Customer Address ― Allows the user to delete shipping addresses. Note that the Billing address can never be deleted.

Manage Bank Information ― When set, the user can see and edit all the fields in the Bank Information area on the Billing tab of the customer’s record, used for EFT receipts and other electronic banking. New users without the Admin setting will have this option disabled by default.
