The serial number tab shows the serial numbers for this item. By default it shows the available serial numbers but the user can select ‘Depleted’ and ‘All’ as well.
On the upper section it shows
- Number – The serial number
- Hold – Whether it is on hold. This is used to quarantine serial numbers
- Available Qty – How many are still available to sell or for production
- Unit Cost – Cost of this serial number
- Sell Price – Sell Price of this serial number
- Received Date – Date the Serialized item was received
- Expiry Date – Expiration or best before date
The lower area shows
- Number – The serial number
- Type – Type of movement.
- No – If type is Sales History this will be the Invoice number
- Receipt No – Receipt number
- Date – Date of transaction
- Unit Cost – Cost of the lot receipt
- Received Qty – How many were received on a PO or consumed in production
- Sales Qty – How many were sold
