Each timecard pay code can be identified with a separate job/account, creating hours and expense amounts for the job.

When the payroll timecards are posted a percentage of the overhead (burden) gets allocated to each job on the timecard. Included in the overhead is:

  • Employment insurance (EI)
  • Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
  • Workers Compensation
  • Benefits

If a timecard is reversed it also reverses the overhead from the job.
