Similar to the Movement tab, the Receipts tab displays transactions for this item from various sources such as Purchase Order receipts, Inventory adjustments, counts, Sales returns and more. Unlike the Movement tab, only transactions that increase the quantity on hand are listed, therefore other transactions such as shipped invoices or purchase returns are not displayed.

All source transactions can be opened in a separate window for investigation.

If the Cost Method in Company Settings is configured as FIFO, then an additional Remaining column will be revealed on this tab, to show the quantity from this receipt of good that has not yet been sold. The receipt with the oldest non-zero Remaining quantity will be used to determine the sale FIFO cost. Every time this item is invoiced on a sales order, the oldest receipt will have the Remaining quantity reduced by the sale quantity.
