When creating a new user or editing an existing user, there are a number of screens with various options or settings to configure. The initial screen is the User Info screen that contains basic user credentials.

Username – The unique code that the user enters when logging into Spire. An alphanumeric code up to 12 characters.
First Name – The users first name.
Last Name – The users last name.
Initials – User initials are saved to every record or transaction either created or edited. Once a new user is saved, the initials are no longer editable.
Email – Users email address. This must be unique across all companies.
Active – This user can log into Spire. The number of active users cannot exceed the licenses owned.
Server Admin – Enable if the user is allowed access to the Server Administration area, to add or remove companies or determine backup schedules.
Company Access – This user can log into this company. If not enabled then this company will not be available for selection when logging into Spire, and another accessible company must be chosen.
Password – The users password. The strength of the password will be displayed during entry, with a warning if the value is too easy to guess.
Confirm – Reconfirm the users password.

The remaining left side navigation menu items are for modules or other general areas that have related options or defaults to configure.
