Access Inventory ― Allows the user to open the Inventory module.

Access Inventory Adjustments ― Allows the user to see open and posted inventory adjustment transactions in the list screen. If the Add Inventory Adjustments user setting is also not selected, then the Adjust button in the Inventory module toolbar is also disabled.

Access Inventory Count ― Allows the user to see open and posted inventory count batches in the list screen. If the Add Inventory Count user setting is also not selected, then the Count button in the Inventory module toolbar is also disabled.

Access Inventory Transfers ― Allows the user to see open and posted inventory transfers in the list screen. If the Add Inventory Transfers user setting is also not selected, then the Transfer button in the Inventory module toolbar is also disabled.

Access Price Matrix ― Allows the user to open the Price Matrix module.

Add Inventory ― Allows the user to create new inventory items, either from the New button or from copying existing items.

Add Inventory Adjustments ― Allows the user to create new inventory adjustment transactions, either from the Adjust toolbar button or from the New button on the Adjustment list screen.

Add Inventory Count ― Allows the user to create new inventory count batches, either from the Count toolbar button or from the New button on the Count batch screen.

Add Inventory Transfers ― Allows the user to create new inventory transfer transactions, either from the Transfer toolbar button or from the New button on the Adjustment list screen.

Add New Items to All Warehouse ― When creating a new item, saving will display a window to select some or all warehouses, if multiple warehouses are configured, and create additional item records for those warehouses.

Add Price Matrix ― Allows the user to create new Price Matrix items, either from the New button in the Price Matrix module or from the Price Matrix tab when editing a customer, or from the Store Prices process when editing a sales order.

Add Unit of Measure ― Allows the user can add new unit of measure values from the Prices and Units tab when editing an inventory item.

Add Warehouse ― Allows the user to create new warehouse records, from the New button on the Warehouse list screen.

Adjust Inventory ― Allows the user to Post inventory adjustment transactions.

Build Manufactured Items ― When editing a Manufactured type inventory item, the user can click the Build button on the Bill of Materials tab to add manufactured quantity for this item.

Change Inventory Code ― Allows the user to access and use the Inventory Code Change function from the Inventory top menu. If this option is disabled, the Apply button is unavailable to click.

Change Stock Unit of Measure ― When editing an inventory item that has multiple units of measure defined on the Units and Prices tab, the user is allowed to highlight any defined unit and have access to the Set Inventory UOM button. Note that the stock unit of measure cannot be changed when there is any quantity on hand.

Delete Inventory ― Allows the user to delete inventory item records. Items referenced on other transactions cannot be deleted. Generally it is better to mark unwanted items with an Inactive status rather than deleting them.

Delete Inventory Adjustments ― Allows the user to delete Open inventory adjustment transactions from the Delete button on the Adjustment list screen. Posted adjustments cannot be deleted in this way.

Delete Inventory Count ― Allows the user to delete Open inventory count batches from the Delete button on the Count batch screen. Posted Counts cannot be deleted in this way.

Delete Inventory Adjustments ― Allows the user to delete Open inventory transfer transactions from the Delete button on the Transfer list screen. Posted transfers cannot be deleted in this way.

Delete Price Matrix ― Allows the user to delete price matrix records from either the Price Matrix module or from the Price Matrix tab when editing a customer.

Delete Unit of Measure ― Allows the user can remove unit of measure values from the Prices and Units tab when editing an inventory item. If this unit is used on a sales order detail, it cannot be deleted.

Delete Warehouse ― Allows the user to delete warehouse records, from the Delete button on the Warehouse list screen. Warehouses cannot be deleted if Inventory items have been assigned to them.

Edit Inventory Adjustments ― Allows the user to change and save values on non-posted inventory adjustment transactions. If this option is disabled, the adjustment can still be viewed.

Edit Inventory Communications ― Allows the user to add or edit records on the Communications grid for the inventory item. If this option is disabled, the note can still be viewed.

Edit Inventory Count ― Allows the user to change and save values on non-posted inventory count batches. If this option is disabled, the count can still be viewed.

Edit Inventory Transfers ― Allows the user to change and save values on non-posted inventory transfer transactions. If this option is disabled, the transfer can still be viewed.

Edit Price Matrix ― Allows the user to save changes to Price Matrix records, either from Price Matrix module or from the Price Matrix tab when editing a customer, or from the Store Prices process when editing a sales order. If this option is disabled, the price matrix record can still be viewed.

Export Inventory ― Allows the user to export the contents of the Inventory items grid to an external file.

Export Inventory Adjustments ― Allows the user to export the contents of the Adjustments list grid to an external file.

Export Inventory Communications ― Allows the user to export the contents of the Communications grid for the inventory to an external file.

Export Price Matrix ― Allows the user to export the contents of the Price Matrix grid to an external file.

Export Warehouse ― Allows the user to export the contents of the Warehouse list grid to an external file.

Modify GL Transaction – Allows the user to modify the GL transaction account or amounts as part of the posting process for Inventory Counts. If amounts are changed, the entry still requires debits to equal credits. An arrow appears next to the Post button to select Post and Review GL.

Modify GL Transaction by Default – The Post button within Inventory Counts is changed to Post and Review GL. An arrow appears next to this button to select Post, without the ability to change Ledger accounts or amounts.

Modify Inventory ― Allows the user to make changes to inventory item records. Some specific changes to items are controlled by other User Settings.

Modify Product Code ― Allows the user to add, edit or delete Product Code records, accessible from the Inventory top menu. If this option is disabled, product code records can still be viewed.

Modify Unit of Measure ― Allows the user can change unit of measure values from the Prices and Units tab when editing an inventory item.

Modify Warehouse ― Allows the user to change warehouse records, from the Edit button on the Warehouse list screen. If this option is disabled, warehouse records can still be viewed.

Reallocate Inventory ― Allows the user to recalculate the committed, back ordered and on order quantities for items that are not correct. Mainly this is only required after a new migration from other software or if a database error occurred.

See Sell Prices ― Allows the user to see the Price per unit field on the Details tab of the item record, the Sell Price column of values on the Prices and Units tab, the 20 Sell Price columns on inventory item grids, and the Unit and Extended Price columns on the sales order detail grid.

Select Warehouse When Adding To Order ― When warehouses are enabled in the company, enabling this option will highlight the warehouse portion of the Part No value on sales order or purchase order details. This is useful if item details typically will not all belong to the same warehouse, and some need to be edited. Disabling this option will highlight the item number portion of the Part No value for entry, which is most useful when all items typically belong to the warehouse selected on the Main tab.

Show Inactive Inventory ― Allows the user to see inventory item records that have an Inactive status on the main Inventory grid and all item lookup grids in all modules. Inactive items will also be suppressed when using the Search box.

Transfer Inventory ― Allows the user to access the Transfer button on the toolbar to process stock Transfer transactions.

View Average Cost ― Allows the user to see the Average cost field on the Details tab of the item record, and the average cost and margin columns on all inventory item grids and the sales order detail grid.

View Count Variance ― Allows the user to see the Expected Qty and Variance values when entering Inventory Count transactions.

View Current Cost ― Allows the user to see the Current cost field on the Details tab of the item record, and the current cost and margin columns on all inventory item grids and the sales order detail grid.

View Inventory Communications ― Allows the user to view records on the Communications grid for the inventory item.

View Receipts ― Allows the user to view the Receipts tab when editing an inventory item, which lists all purchase order Receipts, Adjustments, Transfers and Count changes.

View Standard Cost ― Allows the user to see the Standard cost field on the Details tab of the item record, and the standard cost and margin columns on all inventory item grids and the sales order detail grid.

View Stock Summary ― Allows the user to access the Show Stock button when editing a sales order, to display the quantities on hand, committed, available, backordered and on order for the highlighted item for every warehouse.
