Once the company defaults are set for reports, each user can have defined which reports they are allowed to print. Each report can be set to Preview, Print, Export and Email. This screen also shows the Template, Description and Crystal Report file name of each report including custom ones.

Security

Report Security – Each user can be set to:

  • Company Default – Sets report access for this user the same as configured on the Security tab in Company Settings. Changing access to specific reports or generation methods is not available.
  • Disable Security – The user gets full access to all reports. Changing access to specific reports or generation methods is not available.
  • Enable Security – Each report and generation method that the user has access to is specifically enabled or disabled. Choose Company Default for any report to set the Preview, Print, Export and Email options in the same way as configured in Company Settings, and editing the generation methods is not allowed. You have to disable the Company Default option for any report in order to modify the methods.

Use Defaults – For every report, the Company Default checkbox is enabled, effectively resetting this user to the Company standard access.

Select All – For every report, all methods of report generation are enabled.

Select None – For every report, all methods of report generation are disabled.

Development

Enable Report Development Tools – When this is checked a screen shows up every time the user prints, that includes all of the parameters that can be used for reports printed in this module. It also shows the template name that determines where the report should be presented.
