Territories are a way of grouping customers or sales orders for the purpose of filtering or reporting. They can be used to assign regions such as provinces or states, or any other category to classify customers. Territories can also be used in the Price Matrix module to determine special prices for customers within the Territory. You can open the list of territories from the top Sales menu.

Code – An alphanumeric code up to 10 characters.

Name – The name of the territory. This appears within customers when selected.

Details – Detailed notes can be added to the territory.

Communications – Any number of notes can be added to territories.

User Defined – User defined fields can be added to track and/or print information not already included, and can be displayed as columns on the list grid.
