The Export feature gives the user the ability to create an externally accessible file that contains all visible information on the grid. Along with Filters or other Search results, this means that you can create custom inquiry results that each user can design themselves, for analysis or as a Mail Merge source file.
When the grid has the list of desired records and the required columns displayed, click on the “Export” button and then choose Excel (xlsx) or CSV (csv).
You will be asked if they want to open the file for viewing or editing, using the default Windows application that opens the XLSX or CSV file type.
Click open and note that the spreadsheet maintains the list layout and sort order that was selected in Spire. Excel files are exported as tables, which has the top row locked for easy scrolling through large lists.
