Allocation accounts are not actual accounts, but rather codes that can be used to redirect posted amounts to multiple accounts. For each allocation, you specify all the actual accounts and the respective percentages of the allocation total that are updated when posting.
The total of all allocated amount percentages must equal 100.0%, otherwise an error will appear and you will be unable to save the allocation account.
